Lancaster Family Portrait Photography


The funny thing about being a photographer is that you don’t spend much time on the opposite end of the lens. It is so important to me to capture families in the many stages they go through and have that documented history, however I don’t push our family to get that done as well. I get lots of images of our lovely children, but I don’t get many images of me with them or our entire family together. I fall into the trap of “once I loose some weight then I’ll schedule it” (and we all know that is not going to happen!) This year I was determined that we would get on the other side of the lens as a family. I love the ages our children are and how we interact, I wanted that captured and I wanted our story to be told. So…. I asked a fellow photographer to help us out and she was feeling the same way. So we exchanged, I photographed her with her lovely family and she did the same for us. So here is her darling family:
